- This is a closed species, so only staff can make Feales.
- Artists are allowed to make one custom Feale for themselves, but it can only be common, uncommon or rare. No very rares/guardians.
- You cannot make your own Feale unless you are granted permission.
- Do not steal or copy any existing Feale designs.
- You may gift or co-own a Feale, just ask Rainbow Veins before going through with it.
- At the moment, you can own only 3 Feales. Customs do not count.
- Breeding is currently unavailable but may be in the future.
- You may add as many accessories to your Feale as you want.
- You can keep any of your Feales as long as you want, but we do prefer that if you don't think you'll use your Feale at any point, you message the original artist or post on the thread to ask for it to be put up for readoption. We have the right to revoke your Feale(s) at any time, especially if you're banned.
- Do not attempt to resell your Feale for any type of currency.

What are Feales?
(pronounced like feels)

Feales are omnivorous dragon-like creatures. Regular Feales are typically the size of a large dog, but can range from the size of a small house cat to a horse.
These creatures have a diet of fish, fruit and flowers, with the occasional red meat, although they greatly dislike hunting for bigger meats. They communicate through sounds similar to a bird's chirping.
Being very light-weight, they appear to be made of clouds and they can easily float in air for short periods of time. They have smooth skin with very small scales that is satisfying to the touch. They can be found in mostly cool climates, forests and foggy areas.
Feales have very blunt teeth and grind their meals with their teeth before consumption.
On their body they have very soft, puffy fur on their tails, ears and legs. They also have claws with a powerful grip that allows them to cling to trees and climb up them.
One interesting thing about them is how their eyes are always shut completely closed, making them completely blind. To make their way around on the ground, they use their tails and claws to feel and identify their surroundings.
Feales are a very diverse species, and you can get many different variations. They can have any colors or markings, however dark colors are fairly uncommon, and Feales are never neon colored.
They are all genderless (although they can use any pronouns) and have no preference when it comes to romantic orientation. Feales are born through a magical power all Feales possess, only activated through bond with one and another Feale.

Feales Origin and History

The origin of Feales is mostly unknown. Many speculate they were creatures made of clouds that lived in the sky, who came floating down to earth out of curiosity and ended up staying here.
Feales used to be known as mythical beings, before they were discovered in the wild.
The first known appearance of them was a long, long time ago. A Guardian was seen gliding from the sky, light as a feather, some smaller similar looking creatures following after it. This was the first time Feales were ever seen by the human eye.
Feales were, and still are hunted for their soft fur and skin. Sanctuaries, like this one, were created to help this gentle species repopulate and become less endangered.

Guardian Feales

There is a certain type of Feale that was thought to be a myth. These Feales are called Guardians. They are humongous beings that mostly live on the highest mountain tops and in the clouds, with a sole purpose to protect their fellow, smaller kind. Only a few of them exist in the world and few people have ever seen one up close.
They are believed to be immortal, as they are possibly the oldest Feales to ever exist.

Abnormal Feales

Sometimes, Feales are born with their eyes open, and they end up staying like that for the rest of their life. Feales like this always have wet, teary eyes. They are typically considered defective and will be disowned almost always.
Their eyes may be open, but this doesn't mean they have perfect vision. Most of the time they end up with very cloudy vision, though can still make out objects.
These Feales are extremely rare and usually highly sought out for. Feales cannot carry it if they're born from a parent who has open eyes. It's not a part of their genes, it's simply a birth defect.

Mutations

All Feales have different mutations, like unique fur and ears.
Some types are rarer than others, and below you can find a chart of rarities.
Guardian rarity means that it is a mutation only found on guardians.

Standard: Hair, short or medium tail fur, custom ears
Uncommon: Dark colors, custom leg fur, long ears
Rare: Long tail fur, custom tail, horns
Very rare: Open eyes, glowing markings, two sets of ears
Guardian: Wings, super long tail, multiple extra legs, multiple eyes

Strikes and Bans

This is where people who have been striked or banned will go.
Banned users cannot post, adopt or have any association with Feales until they are unbanned. However, they can still keep their Feales unless they're permanently banned.
Three strikes will result in a week ban. Three bans result in a perma ban.
Breaking any rules will get you a strike and, if serious enough, will get you banned.
Art thieves get instantly perma banned.
