A sign reads "THE SANCTUARY. Where nobody is rejected."
You wonder what it means. You walk up the driveway. You see a old farmhouse-type building
and many fenced-in enclosures. There is also what appears to be an aviary; you can tell because loud, parrot-like
screeches can be heard coming from it.
A large, grey and red bird land in front of you.
"I am Pyr. Welcome to The Sanctuary."
She hops along on a trail. She stops at a barn with about five acres of fenced-in area. "This is where the dogs live." She flips the latch to the gate open with her beak and the two of you enter. A few dogs run around, chasing each other. Two sleep in a pile of hay, snoring. Three buddies wrestle. You smile and Pyr leads you out. You approach another, smaller barn. It has about three acres. A little stream goes across the enclosure. A cat is concentrating on fishing. You enter the barn. There's a cat in a pile of burlap sacks, two or three in the loft, and two running in and out of the barn in a exciting game of tag. You laugh at this and pet the friendly cat snuggled in the sacks. You leave, with Pyr showing a happy grin as well. She brings you to yet another enclosure, with about eight acres and a very small barn, as well as a large pond and stream. "This is the wolf enclosure." She leads you through. The two of you don't actually see any wolves; but you hear a excited bark and a few yips and howls in the distance.
Pyr is practically laughing she is so excited. "And this is my home- the aviary." She brings you to a huge avairy.

PET OF THE WEEK- ARCHIBALD
Archibald is a rather regal cardinal. However, despite his know-it-all,
better-than-you atttitude, once you get to know him, he really isn't that bad.
He uses the same lineart as Pyr and can be seen under her.
