I am the kid that always gets forgotten, that’s always overlooked. It’s been like this my whole life, in part because I never talk, but also because everyone else is something -er than me. They’re funnier, or nicer, or cuter, or friendlier, or smarter, or cooler... There’s just always gonna be someone else that you choose before me. I’m your Plan B, the backup in case your favorite isn’t available. I have someone who I love dearly, I’ll call her my best friend all day long, but I know that I’m not hers. I’m high up there, don’t get me wrong, but still, I’ll never compete with some of her other friends. And it’s not really something I take offense to anymore, it just makes me sad. It sometimes feels like I’ll never be good enough, you know? I trying my darndest, but oof, sometimes I’m wonder if there’s even a point, I feel like I’m just always doomed to be other people’s shadow. Blehhh.

My depression has gotten so bad lately I honestly don't know what to do. I've been trying to find work for over the summer with no luck. The semester is getting closer and closer to being over and I'm just so numb to the stress of everything. I can barely pull myself out of bed. I'm barely functioning and nobody is noticing. Not my girlfriend. Not my roommate. Nobody.

Not to mention my roommate is one of the most inconsiderate people I've ever met. I don't know what she's turned into - I've known this girl for almost two decades. Living with her was such a mistake. She never cleans anything. She has people over all hours of the day/night. Loud people. She gets annoyed with me when I have my girlfriend over (she's jealous) but like - your stupid friends are here till 2 am some nights. I've begged her to just do something and she just is like "ill get to it eventually."

I'm not a neurotically clean person, but our apartment is small, and she never cleans up EVER. My depression is making it impossible to have the motivation to keep picking up after her. I deep cleaned the whole apartment two days ago and there's already dishes in the sink and our bedroom is just destroyed.

I'm beginning to hate my best friend of my entire life and its only making my depression worse. I'm being driven to insanity and every day that goes by makes me closer and closer to snapping.

If I break again I fear that the consequences will be far worse than last time. I can't keep doing this. I can't keep living like this.

one of my classmates that was sitting next to me
taunted me
made off pitch songs about me
and threw sharpenings at me
and she calls it a joke
she deliberately tries to annoy me
its just uggghhhhhhh
i cried
i cried flippin tears
that isnt normal for me
and the teacher didnt even notice
only 1 of my 4 friends did anything
the others just looked a bit, then minded their own business

Honestly, the best thing to do is talk to your cusomters about
it. Close your shop for a bit and try to explain that you’re not
feeling 100%.
