To those who think that Technical Theatre is lame, I present my list of activities for 90 minutes in Tech Theatre:
~Jumping down a flight of stairs while making rounds and hurting my foot, then being told I don't have enough luck to risk jumping down even one stair
~Witnessing an argument between some underclassmen girls in the computer lab while I was doing research. It was long and loud, and I eventually asked them to leave and locked them out. A fellow who had walked in a few minutes prior to my locking them out said "well, that was intense". I replied "try listening to it for 30 minutes" and his face morphed into pure shock XD
~I was asked who I am in the musical. I said "A sketchy Scottish dude who tries to make a buck any way he can, even if it means selling balloons or conning people out of tourist pics" (that actually is my character). And the gal who asked just said "big mood"
~I said good morning to my director (it was about 2:40 PM), and he said "Good morning-afternoon-evening-night??" And looked very confused. He also thought I was drunk or something because I was laughing so hard at his confusion.
It's the anti-lame.
So, I am no longer really playing. I am sticking around to collect pets which I will exchange for art. Please only contact me about art or if you need some advice or a listening ear.
