- In a pleasant twist of distress, considering I bought new ones, I do not need a book with me in class like previous years, for I actually interact with the people around me.
- I once entered the classroom happy and left angry, but every other time, I have entered the classroom depressed and/or anxious and left happy.
- I'm on a cycle of being at odds with others and getting along. I think it's nice--I'm interacting and getting to know people and on the track of making friends, which are not things I can usually do.
- Depression is trying, but hasn't succeeded yet.
- Anxiety, what are you? Not enough, that's what.
- I talked to the guys behind me in class and found the opportunity to mention my love for history with high hopes that someone would jump in with "me too!" My wish was granted.
- A girl in my other class said hello to me today, including my name. If I explained why that matters, it would be a paragraph.

Well, for one, it's my birthday!! my boyfriend woke up around 1 this morning while i was still asleep and wished me happy birthday, so i woke up to a really cute message. it's only the second day of school so we got our last early out until whenever the next one is (first two days of school are early outs) and tomorrow is friday and i'm taking my best friend out to breakfast on saturday.
