Uuuugh of course. Of course my cold isn't enough, now my eye has to screw up too. Everytime I blink, my lids hurt like crazy and the upper lid is swollen, too. And the worst thing is, I can't even go to the doc as it's wednesday and they have closed past noon, and this morning I couldn't go either cause it's been snowing and it'd have been impossible to drive. Blergh I don't wanna spebd my whole day with a stinging, swollen eyelid. >_<

Riiiiggght. So we're practicing for National Ocean Sciences Bowl and all I can find on the Internet about the biology of the Great Lakes is about the invasive species. Wonderful! Just wonderful. -.-

I live within walking distance from Lake Michigan. Trust me, there's not much down there but kelp, sand, and zebra mussels :p

Teacher stereotypes.

I've always been bothered by this, even as a little kid. ESPECIALLY as a little kid, back in first grade, when all my other little friends discovered that teachers didn't live in the school. I remember RAGING at them for even thinking that in the first place. It's because one of my parents is a teacher, and I'm sick of reading books that do nothing more than insult teachers or talk to ignorant kids that say that teachers are only there to bore you and keep you from doing things in life. Sure, I've had bad teachers. I even have them now. But that doesn't mean teachers all suck and hate you.
