I love all breeds of horse :3 (and i love friesians and connemaras!)

I had a strange dream:
We went to pick my sisters up from school, and there was a riding arena there, and there was a dapple grey connemara pony too. He was fully tacked up and had a blue and white rosette on his bridle. His name was Oreo, and before i could mount him, i woke up!

I rode Chester yesterday and he was awesome. <3
We were working on transitions to start with, going from trot to halt and back again, which was interesting, since Chester isn't too good at standing still, but we got there in the end. x3 After about 15 minutes of just warming up, getting him going well in canter with my position as close to perfect as I've had it in a loooong time, we did some sitting trot work. Apparently my instructor wants my lower legs, because of how still I keep them. xD Chester's trot is lovely and smooth to sit to, so it wasn't overly uncomfortable.

Next lesson we'll be starting off with sitting trot and then moving onto no stirrups. Should be fun; I haven't done it in a while!

My horse decided it would be more fun to buck me off then canter. >>
I landed on my neck and my only thoughts were, " Hey look, her ears?"
I hurt now, but I am going to see a different horse today.
I want to ride him so bad, but it will hurt with my neck and upper back being sore.

Favorite breeds: My all time favorite is definitely Hanoverian, I also like Holsteiners, and I like Quarter Horses

I am so excited, I start my horseback riding camp tomorrow! It is at a new barn that I haven never ridden at, but I heard they are pretty good and do a lot of jumping. Hopefully I can catch on quickly xDD

At the summer fair, there was a connemara pony called Smartie! There was a stall to 'guess the weight of the pony' , i guessed 350kg, and the answer was 342kg! Poor pony had to walk around in circles for 3 hours with little kids on his back!

I love Hanoverians, Paints, Trakehners, Boulonnais, KWPN, Arabians, and many more. (:

Uman was jumping terribly at the show. xD He isn't a good jumper at all, he tends to launch himself over, and due to a prior injury, he can't jump very high. So our first class was a cross rails warm up. The first line went fabulously, but then, in the corner, I got him to do a flying change, but he got 2 leads, so then I asked again but he got the wrong lead, and then it just went downhill. x-D We got 4th for overall warmup, which was pretty good, because there were a ton of people. Then in the cross rails class, we got 6th out of nine because I almost fell off... Uman tripped and did a mini-buck at the same time and I fell up onto his neck. I managed to bruise my throat on the saddle. My trainer said that she would've fallen forward too, because Uman is already downhill, and when he trips, he stops all motion and doesn't recover. >< I kinda had a mental breakdown at that point... haha.
Then we did 2 flat classes. The first one was against I think 7-10 people? I don't remember. But it was a Hunter Hack, Walk trot canter, and judged on your horse. We got second. My friend, who is from my barn, got first!
Then we did the Equitation (based on your position) class, Walk trot canter, against the same people. We got FIRST! My friend got 2nd. <333

@Bear:He sounds like fun to ride! Uman is nice and smooth too. Please post pictures!

@Never: Uman did the same thing to me recently, too! But I managed to land on my neck, lower back, and butt all at the same time...

@Christine: Yay for horse camps! I have one at the very end of July.

Aw, poor Connies! I have a connie cross at my farm, and she's so. Darn. Cute! I luff to play with her mane. <3

We had a New Forest pony called Molly at my old stables, and she had a very short tail (apparently it was chewed off by cows) and we were platting her mane and tail. My friend made 3 plaits sticking out of her tail, and we were attempting to pliat her mane, but she rubbed her neck half way through. She hates having her mane and tail plaited, shes a total horse tom-boy! lol

Doc got scared of a milk jug at the playday, but once he realized it wasn't going to hurt him, it was his new best friend, he was so excited to walk through the front because he had to pass the jug. My silly boy.
