That's cool! What kind do you have?

I have the following breeds of rabbit

English Spots >>> (Loves this breed) >>> http://www.rabbittalkinohio.net/images/ ... hmeans.gif

california rabbits >>> (Meat rabbits) http://www.aarabbits.com/uploads/2/6/6/ ... it_pen.jpg

And for those of you who may be wondering about that last breed, Yes people do eat them, in fact that why most people have california rabbits. If you do your research you will find that this breed does not make good pets because they are moody and sometimes even aggressive. They where only bred for meat production. But I don't eat my other babies! :!:

_breezy_star_ wrote:Yeah, I am possibly getting a job soon. I'm 19 and the parents still sometimes help with the feed bill. They don't like that anymore! I buy all the new rabbits, cages and other supplies, but sometimes I don't have the extra $17 for the food when I run out! Haha XD Now with all these babies, I really need the money. lol I do websites and stuff for people, but there isn't always somebody who needs one when I need the money. XD I'm glad I don't have any bills right now...

I'm starting online school soon... and then hopefully a job. So it will take a little bit of time away from bunnies, but I would have some money for food and shows. :) Plus my 2 dogs, lizard and 3 cats... I'm sure the parents would appreciate a few bucks for the food bill on them as well. XD Moving out is gonna suck. :? I'm staying with them for as long as possible. lol

lol yes animals can be pretty expensive, but it is doable for sure. I stayed with my guys for as long as possible but I moved a pretty big distance when I originally moved for school so between the money and the long drive it just wasn't doable in the end. Sad...but true. So I kept my one precious baby (Alex) and moved on sadly.
I still love all rabbit though, I'll never stop loving them. X3

But good for you having a job in web design at such a young age! That's a hard job to get in to. But yeah sadly with jobs like that their just isn't enough of a demand to make it a solid pay check. I wish I could pull in more money with my art but alas it would just not make the ends meet at the end of the month. Still a nice piece of pocket/spending money from time to time though. 83
I'M ON A SEMI-HIATUS.
no asking for art ect, I'm currently only doing art for myself and close friends.

Hello, rabbit owners!

Here's my rabbit history ^^:
Years ago, I owned 2 rabbits, Robert (named like my brother ^^) and Lilli. But we gave away Lilli, because she was snappy...
And later Robert, because he was so lonesome... (I wasn't able to buy another rabbit... I was too sad because of Lilli...).

(Sorry about my bad English, I'm German... ^^)

Well, mine are not mean to me but I agree with what experts say about them not making good pets. My are really unpredictable and very moody at times. I pet them and everything but I would not sell them as pets, nor would I even sell a mix California rabbit as a pet, the reason being the facts still stand that the rabbit can be aggressive because it's just in their genetic make up to act the way they do. Not saying that this is the case 100% of the time though, but its just something you can expect from the breed. I once owned a Californian cross and he was very aggressive to people and to other rabbits and also other animals, sadly he had to be put down. But if your Californian rabbits are good pets, then be glad they are.
