for a few days I haven't been feeding my bearded dragon live crickets, and instead freeze dried ones. On the day I didn't, she ate all her veggies and everything, but since then she been only eating a little bit of lettuce and a couple freeze dried crickets. Could it be because she misses live crickets or something?? I'm worried about her,,

why the switch to freeze dried crickets and why lettuce?
Freeze dried is going to be much less nutritional than live, and lettuce holds basically no nutritional value besides hydration. I use it in my mix only if I see signs of dehydration, but never in the normal mix of greens and veggies. So yes, I suggest switching back to live, and maybe reviewing her diet in general

hey guys!! my boyfriend and i are planning on moving in together soon and i have wanted a monitor lizard for a long time now and thought i’d hop on the opportunity since he loves reptiles as well!! monitors aren’t his thing per se, he likes geckos and skinks mostly, so im doing my own research and have learned basic necessities about owning a savannah monitor like husbandry and diet. but i’d love to learn more in depth info - i’ve been looking on the savannahmonitor.co website but i want more sources, and i want to learn more about genetics and how to tell sexes etc! so if anyone wants to offer input and experience and knowledge please message me! uwu

I would still suggest giving the diet a review. Kale binds calcium, and prevents it from being used for the production and strengthening of bone mass. (At least that's how I've had it explained to me.) For this reason it should be fed infrequently, same as spinach (like a few pieces once a week- a month). If you'd like I can send you the food sheets that I use with more detailed info on their nutritional contents

What did you make it out of and was there a tutorial you followed? I've been trying to find stuff about making stuff like that for a leo tank
I also just noticed your pic of the three tanks side by side- do you have a UVB light for your beardie? I didn't notice one. Coil UVB are not nearly strong enough for them long term
