i feel like in all my years of being into zelda, i've never stopped having strong feelings about it. like, it's just impossible to totally let go. i love it so much fglhkjgf

anyway, i reread the four swords manga so i've been having some pretty intense emotions about that. shadow's death at the end still gets to me like, idk, that kind of tragic hero stuff is so good. and since i'm the worst, got some vio/shadow bias going on with all of that. can't believe i used to deny i liked it. [shakes past self violently] FOOLISH!

Ahh, c: I think, it still remains crazy that a GAMMMEEEE is what brought US all together.
And it really is such an integral part of everything!! [to me, to us, in ways] It's impossible to let go of!

!!! I honestly really wanna pick up the Twilight Princess Manga.. but everywhere I look it's ridiculously expensive! And Thriftbooks.. SOLD OUT, when I look or only selling BRAND NEW and also really expensive.

True that Mints true that. I mean I'm still quite crazy myself and still avidly ship Link x Malon 2kforever.

I love Zelda so much my boyfriend bought me a stainless steel triforce necklace as my first gift. I also plan to get a triforce tattoo on my hip sometime after my 18th birthday. Just a simple thin outline, but nerdy nonetheless. It is such an incredible series that I will never forget. The day it dies will be the day I die tbh.

Also, I think we all knew those who denied love for Shadow would come around or were just hiding it from themselves cx

Hello every one! I am also a lover of Legend of Zelda, but due to budget constraints, I really have only played Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask (on an old, tempermental N64 I was given a couple years back), and a bit of Breath of the Wild (while visiting a friend), and bits and pieces of the gameboy games (on the same visits to gamer friend).
I mainly came on to ask something I don't know how to look up personally. I keep getting walkthroughs and I want speculations, thoughts, theories.
Yes we know Link's age in the timelines, but what I want to know is this... How much time did OoT and MM Link actually see pass? He had to travel through 7 year gap in OoT (if I recall right), not to mention the countless three day cycle in MM. Has anyone ever theorized exactly how much time he, as an individual, witnessed, not what his apparent physical age was?

I believe I recall a few theories about how much time he witnessed go by in MM, but quite vaguely. It had to do with something that occurred in his travels as a young boy after the events of OOT, and I cannot remember if MM is a part of the "failed"
timeline or the "success" timeline either. My knowledge and expertise is mainly on the connection of Twilight Princess to the OOT split,
and how you can see fragments of another Hyrule that experienced a great war.

It is an interesting concept, though. Something fell into place in Link's travels to keep him trapped, and I cannot remember how he or Majora initiated it.
