some images from s5! i find the keith one interesting, because he could really be shocked at anything at this point. and he's in his BOM suit too, so he's probably on a mission. and the style looks a bit off here, for some reason? not in a bad way, it just does.

Softer, more rounded?

It would be ok it if weren't Keith?
Keith isn't really a Soft Character, so it's a bit off-putting on him.

And looking back again, even the picture of Shiro looks a bit rounded compared to that sharp jawline he should have. And then Lance looks like his normal pointy-chinned self.

Well, I mean....
As much as Shiro has his moments, he's still a lot more together than Lance. Lance is...... Getting there, but still nowhere near mature enough to have made some of the decisions that Shiro has.

The black lion needs a leader, and while Lance is slowly coming around, he lacks the ability to separate himself from the situations they end up in. (So does Keith, frankly, which is why i'm glad he's not in charge anymore.)

Its a cool concept and I totally wouldn't mind it being canon, but honestly I'm on the fence about it? Lance has already piloted two different lions, why pilot a third?
