I love pokemon Go but I have an iphone 6 and it was recalled for the GPS not working. It can never find my location - ever. And I missed the recall date, so I've had to mooch off other people's phones just for a pokestop ^^; Hence why I can't participate in raids either. Frustrating considering I can't hatch my eggs :p But I'm gonna get a new phone soon, hopefully by the time it's good weather. That'll be good.

Side note, has anyone been able to conquer a legendary raid solo?

At this point I have just given up on the raids. Hope that some day they will make a trading system and I can somehow get all of the legendaries that way.
Even though I'm living in a much bigger city, I have still never seen more than 1 person standing nearby an active raid. And I'm not exactly brave enough to try to meet up with strangers in a city I dont know, whose language I dont even speak.

Ahhhh! Today has been good!! I got two 10ks from pokestops today!!

Though, I failed a raid anddddddd hatched some Pokémon I didn’t need.

I'm so lost regarding the raids.
I got an invite to a mewtwo raid. Thought that could be amazing, I might actually get my first legendary, right?
But then only like 8 other people showed up?? and 5 of them just left 5 minutes later?? And in the end no one even started the raid and at the most I saw 2 people in the lobby or whatever.
And now I'm really confused?? Do they not send out the invitation to enough people? It was a saturday too so its not like that many people have to work/study. Plus I am currently living in a massive city in the heart of europe, youd think there would be plenty of players here. But now I completely don't understand where all of you (who regularly take part in legend raids) live or how you get enough people to do them...
This was the second time I ever got invited to this too, the first being right after I had left my home country (and the gym was back in my home country so obviously I couldn't make it.

I'm just really disappointed rn. ugh.

Back when legendary raids first started there were loads of groups out and about for it, but now it's really died down, at least where I live. It might be worth looking into if there's a WhatsApp or Facebook or Discord group for the raiders in your city. I know my small city has about three WhatsApp groups.

The time of the raid might be a problem - many players work during those hours and since it's usually a weekday, well.

Niantic sent out about 40 invites per Ex-Raid in the beginning, I'm not sure if this is still true, but considering my own two Ex-Raids this year it's probably still the case.

I'm wondering why they left though. Did they think they can't beat Mewtwo with just a few people? Because it is so extremely easy to beat him, we did it with 4 players of different levels - I think between lvl 30-35.
But it might've been that these people started their own private group, beat Mewtwo and then left.

The best is to actually talk to the people which show up. ^^;
