Hatched a Vulpix today. Pretty much the only good thing I've had in a while.

Anyone else hear about how legendary pokemon will be out soon? Maybe not really soon but in the possible future.
I hear it might be a group thing, like you need a group of people on your team to battle it and catch it or something.

Haven't heard anything about that, but if there's any news, could you link it?

There isn't any official word aout this yet.

A while ago, John Hanke did an interview with a German website and he revealed that the legendaries are set to be released this year, but that's all we've heard that's official, and that's not recent news.

The needing a group of people to battle and catch it comes from the trailer for Pokemon Go that featured loads of people battling a Mewtwo in Times Square, NYC. The trailer hasn't really been the most accurate portrayal of actual gameplay though, so it's not a good guide for what legendaries might be like.

There also haven't been any recent "leaks", believable or clearly fake ones. Surprisingly, most of the big features about Pokemon Go have been leaked ahead of time. Things like the recent water event, the release of Ditto and Gen II, the release date of the game itself was leaked a day before the fact.

that sounds about right to me. Its how I got mine. But there was no "freakishly glitchy spearow" just a pidgey that I decided to try and catch since I wasnt seeing any other pokemon around that area

Ditto doesn't even disguise itself as Spearow in Pokemon Go. -WaterFlame-, are you sure the "glitchy Spearow" wasn't just a normal Pidgey?

To keep this thread from dying again, I'm going to make a list of what I'm still missing from both gens~

From gen1 I'm only missing Dragonair and Dragonite (though I have enough candy for a dragonair, I'm saving up in case I end up catching a better dratini), and Snorlax - from the pokemon that are available to me.
Plus Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Tauros, the bird trio and the mews.

From gen2 I'm missing a bit more, but mostly because of the darn rare evolution items :')

Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Togetic, Ampharos, Houndoom, Donphan, Pupitar ,Tyranitar - I have the first evoutions of these, so I'm only missing candies.

Unown, Girafarig, Delibird, Skarmory, Smeargle, Tyrogue, Hitmontop, Elekid, Miltank - these have yet to show themselves to me.

Bellosom, Politoed, Sunflora, Slowking, Scizor, Kingdra - I have enough candies for all of them. If only the items weren't so insanely rare.

And of course, I'm also missing Heracross and Corsola, as well as the dog trio and the birb duo.

So my gen1 dex is at 140/151, and my gen2 dex is at 68/100.

Does anyone else have a rivalry with one of the other teams for gyms in your area or is it just me? Because there's a lot of back and forth with the gyms here.
