Hm.
The rarest Pokemon I've seen has to be Dratini.
Only had 3 of them the entire time I've been playing.

I still don't have any baby pokemon, either.
What eggs do they even hatch out of, or is it just purely randomized?

I've only seen two Dratinis, and both were in urban areas by a creek

I was supposed to do work for my boyfriend's IT company today, but plans for that fell through for reasons.

So, this morning I was debating whether or not I felt like playing PoGo. Cold weather and feeling kind of lazy made me decide I didn't, but I figured I'd open the game anyway because the place where I'm staying right now is in range of a Pokestop and a few spawn points, so I figured I may as well get my Go+ going to buzz me every now and then. I opened the nearby list out of curiosity and saw the usual Pidgeys and whatnot. One of the images took slightly longer to load. I was just gonna close the list in boredom, but I waited just a few more seconds for the image to load... and it was a silhouette. D':

Haven't seen one of those in months. It was an Omastar, which is crazy for me because Omanyte are super rare where I live. To give you an idea, I've been playing since the game was released and I've only encountered 3...

I laced up my boots as fast as I could and ran out the door in just a shirt because my boyfriend "borrowed" my hoodie earlier in the morning because he was too lazy to go upstairs and get his own one (spoilers: he didn't give it back). It was pretty cold out but I didn't have to run too far, just across the road and a few meters further.

Almost 2000 CP, the highest I've ever caught... But the worst possible moveset. D'x

Your really lucky to get that Omastar though.. and even have a Koffing already.. just.. HOW DO YOU GET THAT LUCCKYY
Since I live in a place filled with Rattata, Pidgey and rarest Pokemon to catch is Exeggcute, and my rarest Pokemon I have is my Clefairy I caught at Starbucks
And that CP you got for Omastar is unbelievable..

I've been playing since day 1 and I live near cities. Not huge cities, but big enough to have some variety. When trading comes out I'd be more than happy to give Koffings away for free haha. But yeah, even for a city/town player, it just comes down to luck for catching super rare Pokemom like Omastar. (And real luck that I caught it in one try! I've had more trouble catching Pidgeys, sheesh.) Looking at my nearby list now, there's only the usual pests and a Staryu... I miss the starter Pokemon event. :c

Clefairy is a great Pokemon to find, though! I've heard that Dragonites sometimes correspond with Clefairy spawns, but I'm not sure how much research has been put into that. And exeggcute... I had to travel all the way to a nest just to be able to catch a few. They practically never spawn around me. So I have one exeggcutor and it's probably the only one I'll ever have until I find a nest again.

They hatch from the same kind of egg as their "adult" version would have. (With the exception of pichu I think?? I've seen different info on the internet and havent got one myself so far)

Cleffa, Igglybuff = 2km eggs
Pichu = 2km or 5km, not sure
Togepi = 5km eggs
Elekid, Smoochum, Magby = 10km eggs

Pikachu hatched from 2km eggs so it would make sense for pichu to come from those as well, but some people have said it hatches from 5km eggs. Pls do let me know if any of you have hatched one yourselves.

Yeah I hatched a Pichu back during the baby Pokemon event and it came from a 5k egg.

I still need Cleffa, Togepi, Elekid, and Magby... But I've been feeling so lazy lately, I don't feel like leaving the house to walk my eggs... blah

Clefairy is a great Pokemon to find, though! I've heard that Dragonites sometimes correspond with Clefairy spawns, but I'm not sure how much research has been put into that.

I havent seen anything like that. Right now I have 2 evolved clefables and havent even seen any of the dratini family aside from dratini itself.

Well, My most interesting catch today was a bulbasaur.
But I'm ok with that, because I only have 18 Candies and no Venusaur.

Well, today was an awesome day!
Did a Lucky egg Evo-spree which gained me 13k EXP.
I've got a 5k egg that should hatch tomorrow.
AND....and...hehehehe
I went to catch a Pidgey and FINALLY got my first Ditto!!!
He's only 104 CP, but to finally have one is an amazing feeling.

Unlucky, I never went to any of those stops :')
idk honestly? Maybe the pokestops are getting good spawns because hardly anyone ever goes there. idk if thats how they work.

Tbh I'm not sure what affects the quality of spawns, if anything. The amount of cell usage in an area only affects the amount of spawn points afaik.
