it's buggy sometimes and my game crashes, but all in all it's fun!!! there's a lot you can do. the only thing that won't work for me at all are the exam tables at the vets. the pets are super fun though!

I play TS3 on my old iMac that runs it pretty okay considering the age of that computer. I am not sure it will be able to run TS4 but I really want to play it, especially with the Cats and Dogs expansion! I have a 2015 MacBook Pro but I don't really want to load the game on it because I need this laptop to last me through school and I don't want the sims to kill it. I have already killed a laptop with the sims and I do not want to repeat myself.

My pc is hanging by a thread for about a year now, but I risked everything and got TS4 anyway... The pc gets really hot when I'm playing, but it still works... I guess I got lucky!
Try downloading the base game and playing for a while to see how your mac reacts and add other expansions slowly, I think you might be at least able to play the base game + 1 or 2 expansions without your poor pc giving up on life... Just don't get a bunch of expansions downloaded at once since you're not sure of how much it can handle!

I just got TS4 pets (I know, I know, I'm a bit late! I couldn't get it earlier T_T) and it's AMAZING!! There are so many adorable puppies and kittens, I just want to get all of them shauhdihbsih
Is there any way to take care of strays without adopting them? I have as many pets as I can get, but I see some pets hungry and passing out in front of my house and don't really know what to do... I put some food bowls outside but they don't seem to be interested in the food at all and prefer to just go ahead and starve ç_ç
It seems that I also can't cure them from any sickness even if I'm a vet and have the exam table nearby, is there a cheat or something that will let me treat them?

I played the demo of Sims 4 (you can download it on Origin, it's the full base game), I believe it gives you 24 hours worth of play time?
I don't have a great PC, in fact it pretty much doesn't run any video games unless set at very low quality settings, and even then it's still risky and laggy. I'm surprised this computer can run Sims 3 with CC (and nice settings) without much problem. But the demo ran wonderfully on my PC, no lag or crashing. c: I believe, not 100% certain, I'd have to ask to make sure, that my computer is from 2013.

I didn't find Sims 4 enjoyable though, which is a shame, it seemed interesting and fun in the trailers. I am tempted to get it just to play with Cats and Dogs though. c:
