I have Pets, Ambitions, University, World Adventures, Island Paradise, Generations, Supernatural, Seasons, and Town Life Stuff. c:
I also have Into the Future, but I never used it so I uninstalled it. (May or may not have also bothered me that townies wore the clothes). How about you? ^-^

Hnng I just got a desktop for my birthday and my bf (who is majoring in computer engineering) told me it may run sims pretty well! I’m excited because sims 4 low settings aren’t the best xD

I play TS3 on my old iMac that runs it pretty okay considering the age of that computer. I am not sure it will be able to run TS4 but I really want to play it, especially with the Cats and Dogs expansion! I have a 2015 MacBook Pro but I don't really want to load the game on it because I need this laptop to last me through school and I don't want the sims to kill it. I have already killed a laptop with the sims and I do not want to repeat myself.

I played the demo of Sims 4 (you can download it on Origin, it's the full base game), I believe it gives you 24 hours worth of play time?
I don't have a great PC, in fact it pretty much doesn't run any video games unless set at very low quality settings, and even then it's still risky and laggy. I'm surprised this computer can run Sims 3 with CC (and nice settings) without much problem. But the demo ran wonderfully on my PC, no lag or crashing. c: I believe, not 100% certain, I'd have to ask to make sure, that my computer is from 2013.

I didn't find Sims 4 enjoyable though, which is a shame, it seemed interesting and fun in the trailers. I am tempted to get it just to play with Cats and Dogs though. c:

I tried to download the demo but it only works on Windows computers and I only have Macs. Honestly, during the first few days of my break, I actually started to enjoy some Let's Play videos on YouTube and that has quenched my thirst for the game a little bit. I can watch those while I work on other things and I don't run the risk of making my computer overheat

You are so right! This video compares low vs high settings and it is insane what the difference is

I sadly haven't done much with cas in the ts4 :c so I can't help

- on the other hand, my ts3 won't add in the Sunlit Tides to the menu in-game, even though I have downloaded it and all o.o
hope someone can help me, because I'd like to get my other things from the store as well... nothing works atm :c

If you have mods you might want to make sure that a mod isn't causing it. I was having that problem not too long ago and it ended up being a mod that was out-dated. You might also want to check CC if you have any. I haven't played the sims at all recently but last time I had that problem it turned out being a mod.

Good news, got my TS3 up and running again x3 ( can finally get my cc content from the store in-game ) can't wait to start building~
- I plan on building the house from the anime Ranma 1/2 if any of you knows that one c: the home of Akane Tendo and her family
It's going to be hard to do I think o.o

Edit; How heartbreaking it is when you started building and then when you're just done with the roof the game crashes...and you haven't gotten to save the roof part yet D: I might do a whole other build just because of that...it took me forever to do the tendo house's roof D:

Have to do a lot of work with the garden and such still though~ but this time I'm saving everytime I do something new x'D
