Yeah, that’s what I was saying but... Save the Light... Minor spoiler: After Peridot and Squaridot had an arguement, which was mostly just yelling at each other, Squaridot prepared a laser and Steven calls for help and... It just seemed like no big deal to poof Squaridot?
I dunno proofing mechanics are weird.

I suspect Peridots are hard to poof because their jobs entail a good amount of danger. We already know Garnet is crazy strong, and she's the only one who's ever managed to poof Peridot.
