Hmm then unfortunately the only other option of fast grass growing is cheating. Time traveling to be exact. You'll have to change the game's time to like two months from now, and all the grass will have grown back. Then you'll have to save and reset it back to the current time. BUT I wouldn't recommend this, it's the reason I had to restart my town last week. This method causes neighbours moving out, weeds (ALOT) and rafflesia (Those funny red flowers)

Uhhh, I did that a few years ago. I had a favourite villager, Chevre, but when I time-traveled, she left. I was so upset I restarted the game (I was 10 or something!) but now I've gotten back into Animal crossing, it's taken almost 2 years to get back to where I was before!
