Hello one and all, and welcome to the Character Adoption Addicts Anonymous [CAAA for short], a group for all of us that are simply addicted to buying and adopting character designs. :3 Here everyone can feel more than welcome to discuss their characters: the ones that you love the most, your currently featured character, your newest character, and those with characters looking for a good home or with character auctions, etc. can share links for us all to go to [and buy more characters]. Another idea? Discuss art of characters, good places to buy art, and gift art to each other. Although isn't the point of an Anonymous club to stop being addicted? Oh well. Forget that. This is just a central for dwelling on how many characters we all have. 8D Aren't we all guilty of character hoarding? I am. o_o

Featured character;;
Every so often I will choose a featured character in which I choose one character out of every member's favorite character. If you are an active member and if your character has never been a featured character, you have a higher chance for your character to be picked. If your character has both a name and link specified on the list (remember, I go by what you guys tell me!) then you have a much greater chance as well. You guys are welcome to do fanart of them [this means that you can do full art, headshots, sketches, poems, stories, comics, or anything really. Just something sweet and gift-like. It's not required of course, but it's the point of the whole featured character idea.] My characters will never be the featured characters, but you're always welcome to do art of them. <3 I would just feel bad putting my own characters up. If you gift me while me characters are not featured, you won't have a higher chance of being featured yourself, but I will however personally gift you back in some artistic form. ^^



The current featured character is... corgie's Mellow!

Both corgie's most recent character and favorite character, Mellow is corgie's mascot. c: She's a thirteen year-old female of an unknown breed and species with anatomy similar to that of a cat. Her simple and adorable personality is written on her reference, and I'm sure corgie would appreciate all forms of art for her newest girl. <3 Take some time to make a little something, won't you? ;D The featured character will be updated within a few days. Congratulations, corgie and Mellow! :'D

Am I still allowed to join if I'm mostly designing new charries on my own? I sometimes adopt or buy characters too, but not as often as I do new ones myself.

do you think that you hoard character designs?;; Not necessarily, but I do have a hard time getting rid of some characters even if I haven't looked at them in forever! So they tend to pile up.
