I'm looking for a few artists to help me keep these guys moving.
As an artist you are expected to follow species rules and guidelines and to be active. Active artists are important.
As an artist, you can create yourself customs.
Species Information Thread
This thread has all the information you need to know about Silkies, including color and genetics! It is very important for you to at least reference this thread while making your designs.
I tried to make genotypes as easy as possible to follow. If you have questions, ask me! If you don't understand them, it is not the end of the world. I am focusing on your designs.
Seriously, don't worry about failing genetics <3 Don't let that stop you from entering if you want to!
Rules:
Only color this in for the competition if you are interested in being a Silky Dik Diks artist. Use it for entries only.
Do not remove the layers that say do not remove (signature and 'fake')
Follow Silky Dik Dik guidelines.
Do not make a cover.
Make as many entries as you like.
I typically want to see at least two designs before making a decision. Feel free to make more!
Include this on each adopt:
What do I look for in an artist?
- Following species guidelines and competition rules
- Soft, natural looking bases with natural gradients and shading (no animals are one solid color ^^)
- White markings that are soft enough that they don't look slapped on, but hard enough that you can tell what they are
- Markings and designs that flow with the silky rather than work against it
- Honesty, loyalty, and the ability to take constructive criticism and corrections (about genetics)
