This is based on a friend's fish, named Pisces. He is an absolutely beautiful betta Here's the reference pic.

I needed to draw something for me and when I saw my friend's photo of her fish I had to try and draw him! Hope you like it!

The use of colors is just overbearing; I adore the green and blue. I feel relaxed when I look at this picture, and I feel as if I could just reach in the picture and touch this beautiful fish. You did an excellent job on the texture. xx

Wow, what a gorgeous fish. It's no wonder you chose to draw him. Those colours! And oh my gosh, the dark background with the pale green light was a perfect choice, it makes the drawing so darn beautiful. I was instantly reminded of the fish scenes in Disney's 'Fantasia'. I see lots of improvement since your first attempt at a Betta. The fins and tail are 'wow'. I know that wasn't easy to do with all those colours and curls and wrinkles and creases! Incredible job as always, sparrow.
