It always amazes me
How staring at something

Maybe it's comforting

Edit 2: Sorry, I forgot to mention, I got the idea and name from an album cover (Spectrum of the Sky by Break of Reality), but did not use it as a reference. I do not own Break of Reality.

As for doing another one like it, the only thing I can think of is maybe doing all of one color...monochromatic ones. (Green would be hard though...)
