- when drawing the hoof, make sure to do a circle with a ) ( shape coming off of it! and then line it off almost like some sort of rectangle/triangle before drawing another uneven triangle (but larger!) for the hoof ;v;
when standing idly, the front bump usually is more visible than normal! e.g. when they're jumping or trotting.
the hoof can also be spun around the circular joint and it helps a lot to think of the circle as something that can "spin" the hoof around! it is a joint, after all!
the back "bump" (fetlock) is pretty much always visible though, so try to remember it! it is also notably bigger than the front part of the fetlock.
