Personality: Compassionate, warm and charming, Auriel is generally welcoming to new friends. Some
easily consider her to stand as a voice of reason or a moral compass when times turn difficult. She is a
highly compassionate individual who is fiercely loyal to her friends and loved ones. For them she would
sacrifice her own happiness to better their lives. In rare moments, Auriel isn’t afraid to turn defiant and
stand up to figures of authority. She is highly vocal and will speak her mind – unafraid to argue and fight
until she has made her point. Auriel is highly skilled in combat and her feisty nature makes her a
formidable foe when pushed far enough. She will fight for what she believes to be right and Auriel would
only cede and make the necessary sacrifice or adjustments when she sees the sense in it and how it would
contribute to the greater good.
Creature/being: Angel
Past: Auriel has spent out the better years of her angelic existence on earth. It was her choosing
to take to living among the mortals. Starting off, she travelled from place to place and kept her head
down as her biggest concern was hunters. Auriel avoided all unnecessary attention and soon found her
place in and around hospitals. She enjoyed hearing the elderly share their stories, and would sit in the
gardens with them for hours. Aside from that she wandered the halls, performing small miracles on
the terminally ill children. Auriel remained mindful of what it was that she was doing and always moved
on when she suspected it was going too far. However the ever present and escalating war between
demons, humans and angels has forced Auriel to reveal herself. Despite her best efforts, the angel
knows that it's only a matter of time before she has to play her part.

I walked over to the door of the bunker and left, heading outside for a little walk, I walked to a bakery that was just down the street to get a snack.

((Sure, somehow, still trying to work out this character. No doubt she will end up crashing into him to be honest. She's a new character for me and I have no clear idea on her dialogue or mannerisms.))

The angel's stride had its usual bounce and she moved through the streets. Her wireless headphones were on, playing an alternative styled song that she had become quite fond of. Her hands were clasped in front of her and occasionally she would lightly tap her fingers across her knuckles in time to the beat. The angel had spent the better part of her night hanging around the closest hospital as per her routine and had found herself in need of a break. They were only mortals yet she had become so emotionally vested in each one that seeing them suffer caused her pain. Losing herself in music and literature were her coping methods and when her headphones were on, she lost all awareness of the world around her.

I hadn't noticed someone walking towards me, and I ran right into them,I stumbled backwards and almost fell, struggling to regain my balance. "Oh my! I am very sorry, I hadn't seen you, are you okay?"

The angel had lost all sense of awareness as she walked so when the stranger collided with her, it caused her to stumble back. Luckily she hadn't lost her balance. She pushed her head phones down so they rest around her neck and observed the figure in front of her wearily.

"I-I'm fine." Auriel reassured him. "It takes more than a little bump to knock me down."

A thought nagged at the back of her mind. There was a familiarity to the person in front of her but she couldn't explain it. Unable to justify why she would know the stranger, she dismissed the thought.

"Are you alright?"

The angel laughed at the stranger's response, not anticipating it to be so blunt. However hearing the man's name made her stop. She had heard rumours around the name through the years she travelled. Auriel's instincts kicked in and she instantly went on the defensive.

"I'm Auriel." She took a couple of weary steps back. "I should...I...uh."

As she did so, Auriel put her arms behind her. Her angel blade slid down the inside of her jacket sleeve and into her waiting hand. She didn't want to use it but if what she had heard was true, she feared she might need it.
