Rules
-The maturity level of this role play can best be summed up this way, if it wouldn't appear in an Animated Disney Movie, don't bring it up. Just to warn everyone, there will be action, fantasy violence, and possibly some implied gore. Discretion shots are a must when it comes to this final item.
-Do not take IC opinions personally. If the Captain wants to hang your character for mutiny, do not assume I feel the same way.
-Romantic subplots are allowed, however, do not allow them to dominate the role play. All romance must be between opposite genders.
-To make sure we literally stay on the same page, we will be posting in a certain order. Number one posts, then two, ect. Until we circle back to number one. If, for some reason, you can not post when your turn comes, you may skip it twice.
The Prologue is the exception to this. -This roleplay is semi-semi-literate. Effort is required, mastery isn't.
-As you may notice, there is no character forum to fill out. The Captain will pick his own crew. You'll need to post in character for the interview.
These rules may be added to if necessary. Check back every now and then.
Ship Rules-All gentlemen must be under 18. Draft dodgers will not be tolerated.
-Children under ten years of age need not apply.
-No drinking, gambling, or brawling aboard the ship.
-When off the ship, conduct yourself in a matter befitting a sailor of East Port Shipping Company.
-Insubordination will not be tolerated. The utmost respect and obedience must be payed to your captain and officers.
-The ships cat is not to be abused in any way.
-Any stowaways shall be thrown in the brig, and handed over to the authorities at the next port.
-Theft will not be tolerated. Any tampering with another crewman's chest shall incur strict discipline.
-All mutineers will be dealt with to the full extent of the law.
Any new additions to these rules will most likely be announced in the role play.

Occasionally Asked Questions
.How do you join?
Just jump on in. At least, until the Prologue is over. After that, new roleplayers must wait until the Faithful Pelican has come to port. *Warning* The prologue is essentially a trial run. Not all characters will make it onto the crew.
