Connor nodded, dusting himself off,"I would too." he sighed and stared out at across the lake. Something in his stoumache twisted and he got a weird feeling in his stomache. Connor glanced at her trying to figure out want it was,"Are you okay?" he asked still trying to figure out that feeling. 'Did something go wrong?' he started to wonder.

“I am, too, don’t worry,” said Annabelle, letting another cloud of smoke escape her ChapSticked lips. She tapped the cigarette onto the bunk below her carelessly before her eyes glowed a bright, vibrant green color. She began to speak in a soft voice that was powerful and weak at the same time:
“Across the river, four will go
Through ice and rain and sun and snow
Three will return, almost unchanged
One will be able to take the blame
For the loss of the ability to see
The privilege of the daughter of the clear-eyed queen.”
Annabelle blinked and her eyes were back to normal. She looked at the cigarette with wide eyes. “This ain’t a joint, is it?” she asked worriedly, more to herself than to Jason. She promptly passed out.

Scottie put her down at the peak of Half-Blood Hill. He took her hand in his and started to walk along the road.

Jason blinked, pulling the covers over her and leaning against the bedpost.

Lexi grinned, walking into a nearby store with him.

Scarlet turned to Connor and looked at him curiously. "I'm fine." She said.

[ The prophecy is about to begin! ]

Annabelle sat up all of a sudden, eyes wide and scared. “Holy sh-t!” she yelped, glancing at the cigarette she’d dropped on the ground. A small flame had begun to pool around it. “What do we do?” She straightened her dorky glasses nervously.

Scottie padded into the store after her. “These are lovely bracelets, don’t you think, Lex?” he asked casually, slipping one into his back pocket. He slipped off the tag and put it into his mouth, tucking it into one cheek as they stood behind a display. He pretended to tie his shoe. “But there are places with prettier ones. Wanna go?”

Connor turned and looked at Scarlet. "Weird. I, I just got this weird feeling in my stoumach. Kind of like something just went wrong." he said with a sigh. He looked at the lake, in the light it had turned a blue-black color. "Weird." he muttered. Connor glanced at Scarlet and shrugged it off,"What do you want to do?" he asked.

Lexi smirked. "Of course," She said to him.

Jason blinked, stomping out the flames with his shoe.

“What just happened?” whispered Annabelle, looking up at Jason with scared eyes. She stuffed the cigarettes and lighter into her pocket and leaped down from the bunk. “Sorry. Did I pass out? Or what happened? I guess it’s because I didn’t have enough water today.” As usual, Annabelle was attempting to work out a logical explanation for spewing a prophecy while talking to a boy and smoking a cigarette that she wasn’t supposed to have on camp grounds. Brill, Anna. Just brill, she thought angrily. “Thanks for cleaning that up. Very brave. Anything I can do for you before I . . . ah . . .” Go tell Chiron what the hell just happened? Will my frigging fat legs carry me there fast enough?

Whistling, and with one arm around her, Scottie padded out the door. The alarm blared loudly and he started to run, holding her hand as he ran. His heart was beating everywhere: he could feel it thrumming in his feet, head, ears, legs, and arms, shooting to the ends of his hands. It was an injection of energy.
