favorite artist, and why; glass animals or modest mouse. dealing with mental illness is hard, and i see myself a lot in a bunch of these songs by them. especially "pork soda", by glass animals, the "word salad" esque lyrics and imagery reminds me of psychotic episodes, and "edit the sad parts" (tw; for suicide and heavy lyrics) by modest mouse. "bukowski" is also a classic.
favorite song, and why; currently it's "the other side of paradise", by glass animals. it's catchy and the lyrics are gay, i mean. closely followed by "btstu" by jai paul.
favorite album, and why; "...like clockwork" or "songs for the deaf" by queens of the stone age. but really any concept album is gr8. i love listening to them and listening to the story unfold. "act i-v" by the dear hunter is another set of amazing concept albums.
favorite genre; indie, spoken word, progressive rock, emo, just about anything.
favorite music news source [if any]; i don't have a favorite!
least favorite artist, and why; i'm not a big fan of most "screamo" bands, as the screaming gets on my nerves, but i'd never otright diss anything anyone was into. if it means something to them, it's music.
least favorite song, and why; i don't outright dislike any songs, but i guess "work from home" from fifth harmony got annoying after the 10 or 20th time i heard it.
favorite music service pandora or spotify.
favorite platform? (records, cds, digital, etc.); cds, for the feel, digital for the amount i can have
