Shiny Pokemon you achieved? Shiny Discussion!

The first shiny I ever caught was a Fearow in Pearl (it was also the only shiny I got in Moon before I restarted)
The first shiny I ever bred was a Shinx in Black
The first shiny I ever SAW (also in Pearl) was an Absol, my absolute favorite pokemon at the time. However, I had no idea what a shiny was and was like "why is this one red?" I don't know why I didn't try to catch it or if I DID and took out all its HP on accident, but when I look back at this memory, I get sad.

I actually have a lot of shinies, either from trading or breeding, and very few from actually finding them. The one I'm proudest of is a shiny Moltres that I ended up getting in Heart Gold. I accidentally KO'd the Articuno (my favorite of the birds) and didn't save prior to it (I would have had to re-play about an hour or so to get back to where it was, and I wasn't about to do that), so for Zapdos and Moltres, I was sure to save before the battle, as I wanted to catch them. I accidentally KO'd the Moltres a few times, but when I reset one final time, it was a shiny!! Needless to say, I made sure to catch it, even though the shiny version looks like a plucked chicken and is definitely not one of my favorites.
I also bred for a shiny Zorua for MONTHS. It took so long, but it was worth it. Shiny Zorua is so awesome looking.

Didn't realise there was a group ~just~ for shiny discussion...
But anyway...

First shiny? Other than the Red Gyarados, it was a shiny Tailow that I found in Sapphire during a Skitty outbreak!
Not sure how many ~exactly~ I have, but it's a fair amount... Forget whether it's about three or four boxes full... I've traded, I've bred, I've caught them in the wild, I've grabbed them from events.
Most recent shiny is my Drampa, which I finally hatched after ~too many~ eggs... Considering replaying Moon with a team of Alolan Shinies, so got Drampa, a Mimikyu and working on a Sandygast now... Also got a Pokemon that my brother has chosen and bred shiny for me, which'll be a little bit of a surprise! Not sure what I wanna chuck in my last two slots, trying to get my other siblings to recommend something is a pain... So far we're stuck between Oricorio/Pikipek for one slot, but I've still got a while to decide that, depending how long this Sandygast takes...

my first shiny was a shiny suicune :') and suicune is still to this day one of my favorite pokemon/shinies!! i remember crying so hard when I caught the legendary pinecone the shiny suicune aaa,, and after i caught them I showed my dad and he got jealous! he never caught a shiny in pokemon before and I caught a shiny within a few months of playing pokemon!


I also recently got a shiny pelipper in pokemon sun! hes a very good and strong pal!

pokemon soul silver was my first game and the first game I caught a shiny in :')

well anyways, I play sun & moon on the 3ds and my first shiny I caught was a shiny alolan meowth. I don't know much about pokemon iv's and stuff, so if someone could message me about it that would be fantastic- but that was a nice one to achieve

I haven't been playing Pokemon a lot, but I've found some shinies First was a random Druddigon in X, my last was a random Pelipper in Sun. I achieved via SOS method (all in Moon) an Eevee in 7 hours, Pikipek/Toucannon in 4 hours, and Snorunt/Froslass in 30 minutes! Not to shabby.

I'm playing original silver and apparently breeding a shiny increases your odds to 1/64 (in gold, silver, crystal only)! I used the shiny gyrados to do the ditto glitch in Pokémon yellow to force it to be shiny. I only use it for shiny breeding...

So far I have bred:

2 shiny eevee (1st and 3rd egg!)
1 shiny vulpix (15th egg)

I've bred less than 40 eggs. I half heartedly tried for pichu and gen 1 starters getting less than 5 eggs each.


Next I'm going to try for totodile to give to my boyfriend for his playthrough of gold. :3

I got a shin magikarp through pokemon go lol. Haven't gotten one in my play through of Sun yet
