As soon as I saw that tutorial I become obsessive, I've been trying to make a code like that for weeks. Thanks for taking one, that particular one has a really rare outcome, I'll check if you got it.

How did you make the moxiferous website? I tried seaching moxiferous.net but it only came up to a blog. What's the webhost/server?

Moxiferous.net is my all-purpose domain, I have my blog and 2 adoptables sites hosted there. I'm hosted by Bluehost.com, but I would't recommend it because their hosting is pretty bad.

His tutorial's really, really easy! I suggest using a free host that supports PHP, so not freewebs.

I dunno, try it and see. Or you could just get hosted by someone.
I would, but I can't because I'll probs have another server overload.

Actually, the adoptables system I described requires PHP 5, and Geocities only offers the (very old) PHP 4. If a free provider offers PHP, they'll usually make it the main point of their advertising that it includes PHP, so just search for free PHP webhosting.

Ashcloud: Geocities is terrible, don't know if they still do but they used to have ad banners on the right side of the page which would mess up the page appearance (because most people didn't design their pages with this in mind so it shrinks the page width), and if you closed it it would reappear next time you went to a page. It used to take up a big chunk of the page too, it wasn't a little bar it was massive. And since the background is white it stands out heaps unless your site background is white. I don't visit Geocities sites because of this, the ads are just waaaay too intrusive. Don't know if they changed it though, I haven't seen a Geocities site in ages.

I know awardspace.com allows php (and databases too, but although I [used to] know SQL I don't know anything about implementing a webpage with database backend) but I don't know what version of php, maybe take a look at it?

Edit: Erm, I tried it out. It works, to a certain extent, but what DOESN'T work is that the images don't show up properly. I'm fairly sure it's a problem with adopttools.php. Could you, in the tutorial, instead of giving just a bit of the code we have to change, give the entire code?
