Hi, I'm trying to learn PHP to make my adoptables site a little "neater", and I think I got something like this recognizable;

I'm trying to do this on my Freewebs site, and it hasn't worked so far. How can I get my Freewebs site to accept PHP codes without having to switch to Premium (I won't be able to have to pay for my site )

Freewebs does not support PHP, either on their free accounts or their premium accounts. From their FAQ:

"Premium service customers can use CGI/Perl. However, this type of programming is not available for free account holders, nor do we support the use of MySQL, MSACCESS or PHP. You can, however, link to remote scripts from your website."

You'll need to find a different provider.

That's tricky, since PHP and MySQL are sort of "advanced features" that free providers rarely offer. If you search for "free php mysql", you're likely to find some good hits. Here's one that looks pretty legitimate: http://www.000webhost.com/

If you are willing to spend money, you can get PHP, MySQL, your own .com website name, and much more for <$5/month. You could do worse than http://www.1and1.com, whose plans start at US$4/month.
