linking to a specific part of a page?

[ sorry if this has already been resolved on a different thread, but I looked around a bit and didn't see anything ]

I've seen quite a few people linking to specific parts of a page instead of the page overall, and I was wondering how to. I haven't seen anything that says how, but I do think it's pretty helpful with long forum pages. Does anyone know how to? Thank you!

To link to specific posts, you need to click on the 'title' of that post - for example, for this thread, you would click on "Re: linking to a specific part of a page?" at the top of whichever post you want to link, and then copy the link from the address bar.



To link to something with words, you need to include this code:
