@DaDwarf I agree with you. A couple years ago I wasn't too bothered with focusing on getting animal eggs 1 and 2 because they were often traded for normal rares/very rares or low advent list. However now people won't accept anything less than above the gap. Because of that ur tiger trade, I've had 4+ users decline my trade because "they're worth the ur tiger" or they simply won't accept anything less than the tiger, which I think is a bit absurd. The person who traded that much clearly stated they were desperate and had doubles of the ur tiger which is why they went through with it. I do think it's affecting the demand of the eggs quite a bit.

Yes the eggs will increase in worth like store pets but in no way has their worth suddenly jumped that high.

I also very much agree, they're not as rare as a lot of people make them out to be and its a lot easier to find them than you'd think. One trade shouldn't affect everything just because one person was willing to pay so much.

All the trades are only from 2017/2018 that I could find from this thread (there may be 1-3 I found from searching on other parts of the forum).

Based on what I'm seeing being offered/accepted, I'd estimate AE1 and AE2 high on the main list (around a non, give/take, if I dare to be exact... again, solely based on the trades above). Seeing that, I'm also thinking of the UR Tiger trade as more of an outlier than a representation of the value of the egg. So I'd have to also agree with dd that the demand got pushed way up because of that (to which the user admitted they knew they were overpaying as well, which I feel--to an extent--implies that they also realize the egg is worth less than what they willingly paid). With a little dedicated searching, it doesn't take an overly long time to find several people that have AE1 (AE2 being a bit more difficult to find, I have personally noticed). The AE3 and AE4 seem to go for low sept.

I agree with your value review. Does this sound ok? I like to be vague with our guide to give users some wiggle room for their trades.
Eggs 1 & 2 - Mid/High Main List (or just high main list?)
Eggs 3 & 4 - Advent/Sept List (or low sept?)

Haha, well at least you included the older trades. I left those out because I figured, even if they were useful to seeing how the value changed, the value would have changed enough since then to not really be useful in determining their current value. I also agree to the values you posted above. Just to clarify, I think "mid/high main list" is a good description of the 'bubble of pets' (for lack of better term) surrounding the big gap. Versus if we put "high main list" I think it could make people interpret it as HIGH main list (moonswirl, UR tiger, etc.), which wouldn't be infeasible considering--right now--so many people think the eggs are worth UR Tiger because of that one (outlier) trade.

I would say 'below the gap.mainslist' for the first two eggs and a mid sept for the otther 2. Putting mid high main list will make people think moonswirls per egg lol

Hmm, that's why I clarified above. Would it be too precise if maybe we said something like "about red toxic to a nondog+" (even if a little different from the vagueness of the other values we're putting)? Because that's literally the values we see from these trades, but it also would entirely void the confusion of what "mid" or "high" mainlist means (while also not restricting it to just below the gap).

personally I think if you put them like that most people will expect a non for it and nothing less.. Or that is what Id fear. Maybe say mid main list, and then say like worth a pet around the big gap on the main list?

I would indeed mention if its below or above the gap, since that is a huge diffrence.

I noticed some parts of my previous post were a little unclear.
Like the older trades part. I just meant to say that you can compare what people paid then and now, but you cant use it to expect people to pay the same as what was paid in 2011 (just to name a year as example).

I thonk your list looks good, Sol. And if needed we can update it now and update it as more trades come in
