Everyone here has their own way of getting the items and pets they want. I thought it would be neat if some people shared their secret to success.

Whenever there's an Event on Chicken Smoothie I collect as many tokens as possible and then sell them. With that money I can buy about 3 mid advents ^^

Even back in '09 when I started. Buying instead of pet swapping with CS$ and other games' currencies is the only way I completed my pet and item collections.

Visiting the 'free adoptions' board regularly when I was starting out. Also, there are a lot of kind people out there with rare giveaways. For me, by signing up for most giveaways, I actually won someone's whole account of pets which really gave me a boost in getting the pets I have today.

What exactly is off site trading ?

Offsite trading is when you have another game, like Flight Rising and you trade their currency for our currency or pets.
Example: I'll give someone 400k on Flight Rising for a Pink Cookie dog here. Its a bit risky since there's a chance you could get conned but for the most part, it's worth it.

All my stuff came from drawing. I'm terrible at trade and I don't understand how people get what they get from just trading up. This has also helped get better at my art.

I just looked and my art thread will be turning 4 this spring...yikes..
