No it does not come to 400 C$. I did the math and it would come to 195-235 C$.

A mid 09 rare/very rare ranging from May to August is worth between 35-40 C$
A late 09 rare/very rare ranging from September to December is worth between 30-35 C$
2017 store pets are worth around 20-25 C$
Unknown rarity has no price till it is given a rarity. If it becomes an uncommon it would be worth 1 C$ at most.
That would bring the total to 196-235 C$.

So I know the pets above are listed at those prices on the front page which should still be correct. But someone messaged me saying the Red and White Malk Dragons go for 800+ now. Also the the Red Cerberus goes for 1,500+ so they say. Are they trying to scam me into buying them for more than what the thread says they are worth or is it true?

This will depend on how you value the pets. However, I do not believe the dragon's 'demand' in pets is that high, that's the clear eyed galaxy tier and the white dragon is September list. They may go for a bit more than their actual C$ worth, but that's just demand and demand doesn't have a set price.
The Cerbs do have overpriced demand, but again there isn't a set price on demand. 1500 is about the UR Cat tier, and I didn't believe they were going for that high?

So I would say they're incorrect.
