Custom pets are unique, one-of-a-kind pets. They're not regularly released pets - they're special gifts for only the person they belong to. Nowadays they're pretty much exclusively given to staff members as a thank you for their work for the site (this particular custom's owner, Lawliet, used to be an artist for CS until 2010), but in the early years (mostly 08 and 09) some were also simply given to, for example, Tess' friends.^^
