I think they put the back grounds on the pets that are in the archive so people won't copy and paste to claim them as their own pets :P

I honestly don't see a problem with that. It would be like an off-account pet, just less personal. They won't be able to use it for anything other than to look at it, they won't even be able to have their own name on it.

So yeah, I don't see a problem with this, it's a nice archive if you need transparent pics I guess^^
