"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

If someone could, even in a pm, give me a quick run-down of how to use the archives to search for change dates I would be more than happy to research some of the very rares not on the list. I just honestly have no idea how to. (I probably should be able to figure it out after being here for almost 7 years, but alas, I cannot. XD)

We're using the rarity changes archives, not the actual archives.

I basically search for a specific pet and then save all the links to posts for the pet with lil x's besides the pet name like lya did in her example.

It takes some time but yeah xD i also use the forum search function to look for any other info on other threads.

Also would it be more helpful for me to post a list of some of the non-list pets that turned VR at the same time as some of the list pets & when they turned here or via pm?

Compiling a list of the ones that changed from rare to VR at the same time or before list pets now & will send it soon

One thing I will say is that if all the pets which are worth list pets rarity wise are added to the new list people should find trading onto & off the list much more accessible, which can only be a good thing in my opinion.

edit: lol, I just noticed that the Zebras' rarity is "OMG so rare!"

And zebras never went down in rarity ... went they? I think that maybe just one went down (not sure if mountain or grevy zebra) but other never went down... so they are OMG so rare from the start... they should be (except that one which went down) then on the top of new rarity list right?
At least I thinkg that they should be... but it can be just my opinion

I could be mistaken, but I believe it's been said that the zebras are the rarest pets on the site. This would mean that they should be on the top of the list. If I'm wrong about this and remembering something incorrectly, please someone correct me. c:

I'm also quite sure that it was stated once somewhere that they really are the rarest pets of the site. Which would make sense because of the reasons Lufik already mentioned and also the fact that they weren't ever able to get regularly adopted - and beside December 18th only by a chance of 1:40.000
I tried to find the post where it proofs that they really are the rarest pets but can't find it - maybe someone else finds it or know where exactly it was stated?

The zebras were stated by Tess to be the rarest pets in game but the Mountain Zebra didn't stay omg so rare. It was omg so rare from the update to december 2010, then dropped down and went back up in feb 2011.

Which is why on the current list that zebra is below its brothers, because it's less rare then them c: The other two never shifted in rarity before or after the 2012 update.

Just a quick phone post - just because the Zebras were the rarest pets on the site back then doesn't necessarily mean they are the rarest now. Some UR pets were always omgsr. How do they compare to the zebras? We dont really know.

Especially with the amount of Zebra's that have been additionally released with horses as common adopts, another 10-30 per month and even more of those that we don't know are released.

It can't be really fair to say Zebra's are at the very top, but they are high up.
