이제 여름이 다 끝나가니 다시 학교 개강시간이네요 ㅠ 남은 여름도 재밌게 보내시고 아직 학교 다니시는 분들에게는 행운을 빌어요 ^^

TIPS

If you are learning or want to learn Korean, try to learn honored expression first.
When you meet Korean, it isn't good to say in low form even though they are younger than you.
Before the other person become friend with you or allow you to say in low form, you should not use the low form - it is rude.

Honored expression usually ends with ~요 and ~다.
For example, 안녕하세요 is more honored expression than 안녕.
감사합니다(most honored) > 고맙습니다(more honored) > 고마워요(honored) > 고마워(low form)

I know it'll be hard to most of western language users because there is no this kind of form.
But you respect others by using "please" or "would you".
It is like that.
If you don't want to be rude, learn this.

Well.. most of them are low form.
I understand because it's KPOP.
I would rather recommend drama if you wants to learn real conversations.

Just a quick note, most of the phrases in the images Kiyomice shared is informal so please don't use those to anyone you meet for the first time (especially Koreans) - it just makes me cringe a little bit when Kpop fans (foreigners that love Korea etc) that I meet for the first time (or not very close with) use informal speech when they find out that I'm Korean.

They are really great when trying to understand Kpop and uses outside of daily conversation since a lot of the lyrics include them!

When starting out with learning Korea, I really just recommend learning everything in formal speech

다들 잘 계시죠? 여름방학이 끝나가니 일주일 전 한국에서 다시 미국으로 들어왔어요ㅠㅠ (벌써 그립.....)
일본에서 한달 반 정도 일어를 배우면서 생활했었는데 너무 잘먹어서 5kg(!)나 쪘답니다...
먹을때는 좋았는데 먹은후는 참 힘들네요ㅎ (웃지만 슬프네요..)
학교는 다음주에 시작하는데 차로 9시간 운전해가야되요...하하하....ㅠㅠ

대학교 기숙사에서 생활을 하니 다행이 운전은 매일 안 하죠 ㅎ
방학때는 비행기를 타고, 그냥 학교 개강때만 짐 때문에 운전해요!

많을 일을 해보니 진짜 제 부모님 말이 맞는거 같네요..인생에서 공부가 제일 쉬울꺼라구...
고등학생때는 진짜 너무 힘들었다고 생각했는데 뒤돌아 생각해보면 놀면서 얼렁뚱땅 넘어간거 같네요...

Hm, the real question is can you read hangul? If you can or cannot I can still send some common phrases but preferably you should try only reading in hangul.
