@Flightstar Estoy* en el coro*. :3 The verb "to be" can be either "ser" (if it means to be something, like being a doctor or being fabulous <- Best example ever xD) or "estar" (if you're talking about being in a place, in this case, the chorus, or a mood, like being at your friend's house or being happy). Also, we say "coro", not corro (which actually means "(I) run").

Hola!Me llamo sleekyscool or sleek(for short)!I used to speak spanish but as I got older I started forgetting and the spanish teacher asked me if I speaked spanish(this was a few grades upper and the spanish teacher that had taught me quit)and I said yes so she started talking in spanish and I realized I forgot how to speak espanol for the most part!So I want to join so I can learn more espanol!And btw the spanish n I don't have a typing key for so I use the regular n!

Tambien, por que usas el verbo "estar"? Yo se que "estar" significa "to be" en ingles, pero no se que(?) usas en la frase.

@Flightstar We say "La profesora nueva no me gusta" ^^

And that thing about the verb "estar"; We use it when the verb to be is talking about being in a place (Be at home -> Estar en casa) or about a mood (Be happy -> Estar feliz). I can't think of any other situations when we use "estar" now ... Those are the most common ones. When you're talking about an adjective, something that you are, we use "ser".
