The 'fake pets' are things that people have drawn and then pasted the Chicken Smoothie tag saying '____'s pet' on the bottom to make it look like a CS pet. They aren't on your account or anything - just a little drawing to put in your signature. Right now a lot of people are making fake fruit pets, so you'll probably see lots of mangoes, oranges, pomegranates, and that sort of thing around. There are a few odd pets that are real though, like the apple, the banana and the Christmas tree. ^^

well how do you know if its real or not/ cause they look alike and they fake so then? this make no sense?

Real pets will have either 'CS' or 'www.chickensmoothie.com' written on them, which isn't permitted on fake pets. :3 Sometimes the CS artists forget to add the tag, but there aren't many pets that are like that, so in general if a pet doesn't have the CS tag on it and has a different lineart from any other real pet, it's a fake one. A fake pet will have just the person's name with '_____'S PET' and no CS tag, similar to this pet (which is actually real):

Most real pets will have the CS tag, as shown on these rats:
Also, only real pets will be listed in a person's pet collection so, even if it's something really odd (e.g. a squid, a piece of coal, a rotten banana, etc), if it's in their pet collection it's real. ^^ Most of those odd pets will be customs, but there are some that are general releases, too, like the Christmas tree, apple, banana, zebras, the Nick fennec shown above and so on.
