Staff Changes - Retirements and returning staff

Coalchaser, It's so sad to see you go! You were amazing at your job and I hope you continue to help anyways
Briar, you've been such a good helper, it's sad to see you go. I hope you enjoy your new job!
Tyr, you are amazing. You will be missed dearly as an official artist. I hope you still have some more amazing designs!

Unfortunately I have a few more retirements to announce this month, but to lessen the blow slightly I also bring good news about a returning staff member!

Retiring this month:

Tyr - very sadly we are losing one of our long-term artists this month Tyr has been an official artist since 2010, when she joined as an item artist. She quickly found her true passion was in pet designing, so changed focus and has been designing truckloads of gorgeous pets for us ever since! She also helped develop our newborn fennec fox lineart. Being one of our oldest artists on the site it's almost a guarantee everyone reading this owns many pets or items made by Tyr, so lets show our appreciation by sharing our favorites in the comments Tyr plans to stick around as an occasional guest artist, so we hope we haven't seen the last of her artwork yet!

Briar Rose - Briar first joined the global mod team in 2013, and has been a great support for both staff and members. Being very knowledgeable and friendly, Briar was a popular contact for members seeking advice and help with the site. Briar Rose is soon to graduate and start a new job, so unfortunately won't have time to keep up with moderating, but we hope to still see her around as a member and wish her all the best for the future

Coalchaser - another long-term staff member retiring this month, but we hope this one is only temporary! Coalchaser has been supporting staff and members as a global moderator since 2011. Time has come for a well-earned break from moderating to make some room for real life, but we hope to see her back on the team in the future

There are a few other inactive staff who will be moved off the active team list this month, but may be returning in future. We may soon be seeking new staff to repopulate the staff list, so keep an eye on announcements over the coming months!

Returning Staff:

Chia - some good news after all that sadness! Chia was an artist for us from 2012 - 2014, but retired last year so she could have a break. Now with her batteries recharged and rearing to go, Chia has re-joined as an official artist! We're super excited to have her back on the team and can't wait to release some of her new pets next month
