Over the past 12 months all the old horses, ponies, donkeys, and zebras from our retired artist equimagine have been updated onto our current linearts which were mostly made by our current horse artist Yulynh
This involved coloring in about 650 equines from 2009 - 2010! The updated versions were created by Sorren Fey and Chia. Soon the archive will be updated to give credit to Sorren Fey/Chia as well as equimagine for those old pets.The change was controversial and many were against the idea at first, but overall we feel that the majority of users were happy when they saw the changes, and we're proud of what we've achieved.
As promised, we will also be updating the old Fennec foxes because of similar concerns regarding their linearts. Our retired artist Lawliet is helping us create new fennec fox linearts (she also helped make the deer and lions). We hope to have those changes up for preview within a few months, but these things do take time so please have patience
but some of the new ones are pretty cute. I have to go through my wishlist now and remove the pets I thought looked cool.
