Hurricanes are measured my pressure in the storm, and this storm has a extremely low pressure.
Sadly, lower the pressure, the more dangerous and large the storm.
Hurricanes normally lose their hurricane title after they make landfall, which is why sandy is no longer a hurricane, but a tropical storm.

(Sorry to be technical but I only know it because I'm learning about natural disasters xP)

Well, once a hurricane turns into that....Apparently its not over, it just gets worse.

I REALLY hope that's not the case because it'd be terrifying! ;c
