Overview

Hi there~ I finally decided to turn my paperclip thread into a regular trade thread a year after I created it. XD

I have many pets from 2009 through 2013 to trade~

Unfortunately, I'm currently in school, so my big, red, scary trade rules are up ^^; Thankfully, it seems to have been mostly successful in scaring away traders. (If they were not there, I am certain that I would be ending this school year with fifty thousand trades to go through. That is just mildly discombobulating, thanks. xD)

Here's a tamer version:

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME TRADES UNLESS:

a) you are offering obvious overpay (paperclip, regular trades for pets/items*, or gifts),

b) you are offering an obvious swap,

c) we already had some sort of agreement, or

d) you're editing a trade I initiated. (Congratulations, by the way; that means I'm willing to spend time editing a trade with you, as long as you don't make it a hassle xD)

If you send a trade that does not meet at least one of the above conditions, I'll cancel it so I can save myself a headache in June.

I WILL NOT EDIT TRADES THAT YOU INITIATE.
(unless:
- you make a fair offer on an NFT item, in which case I WILL edit unless none of them are for trade or unless you offer on a lot of items
- the trade looks close to fair or otherwise seems like you tried to make it fair and contains less than five pets on each side)

Please do your research on item values!

The usual paperclip drill is offering a pet of equal or higher value (release month, written rarity, and/or demand) for the user's "paperclip pet." These are not your regular "bulk-for-one" trades. This is trading up. C:

* My paperclip group is here {link}. It's the only group whose name begins with 0000.

* I'm not picky with the value bumps C: even a rarity bump from OMGSC to VC is fine xD a single month bump is fine, too! And the latter would probably be fair going by the three month rule xD

* Wishlist pets are not required, and you can offer any species ^^ (though I'd prefer it if there were no spiders or non-WL Halloween pets, since I'm scared of them xD;)

* My "goal" is a wishlist pet. C:

So I was metaphorically addicted to initiating paperclip trades. However, there came a point when I realized that although I'm getting more of the pets that I missed (my dad blocked me from April 2010 to August 2011), I wasn't exactly gaining much value-wise; if anything, I was losing quite a bit.

Paperclips I have initiated (aka where I overpaid) are here {link}. Mhmm. Big difference, considering what pets I gave LOL (this is the main reason why I have very little fodder from 2010)

Should probably create images for separate parts of my wishlists--like an updated, cleaner version of those wishlists I did back in 2009/2010
- for the pets, just separate by priority/affordability (one of each part of the rares list, then one for each year) done! 8D
- - shouldn't bother with recent missed outcomes until after six months or so
- for the items, separate by:
- - want just one - free (maybe divide by year)
- - want just one - store (maybe divide by sections in the store?)
- - want just a few - free (maybe divide by year)
