I gave up at around 6k. xD It's nice to donate rice regardless of whether you win, though! Every participant gave something to a person in need, which is awesome. I am happy that I at least tried, because even small contributions add up.

Question, because I'm not sure how the site's features work across timezones.

So I am assuming you'll be checking profiles to see if there's any activity after the time limit, but how will this work for people in other timezones? I'm in EST, so your 12 AM is my 1 AM. If I continue to play past 12 AM EST but still stop before the time limit, will it display on your screen as being done on December 31st? Or will it still be obvious that I stopped within the time limit? I hope that question makes sense :'))

I just hit 400,000 and I don't have it in me to keep going anymore lol (been working on this for about 24 straight hours to try and catch up but alas XD) I'm happy all my hard work is going to help feed people and I'm glad to know we all donated over 1,000,000 grains of rice! For reference, about 45,000 grains of rice is about 2 lbs! So we've all done so much <3 I'm so proud of all of us who worked towards this c':

wowie. wow. guys we did a lot of good for people. this was a great giveaway idea, mad props.
the top four alone donated over 1.5 million grains. that is insane.

We've definitely donated well beyond 1,000,000 grains, but I'll still excited to see a total tally of all the grains donated by all participants.
As brutal and time consuming as giveaways like this may be, I do wish it were something done more often, because it just results in so much being donated. It's definitely a format I'll use someday in the future for my own giveaways. Though I'll probably make it last over a shorter period of time, so that it's not as brutal...Keeping this up for as long as we had to was actually quite draining, and I'm really tired ^^;;;
