Lucky Lapine is a wonderful little breeding sim focusing on rabbits and guinea pigs! It's been undergoing a revamp for a while (posts from admin say to expect new animals like hedgies, rats, and more rodents in the future!), but it's still a super fun place to spend time. It has a great design and is one of my favorite SIMs I have joined so far!

This thread will be a great place for us CS peeps to discuss the site and our rabbits! Feel free to chatter, ask questions, and advertise your litters. c:

Rabbits

-Breed and raise 20 breeds (and more to come)
-Realistic genetics and rabbit images
-Realistic lifespan (7-12 years)
-Keep up to 10 hutches with a basic account
-Upgrade to keep an indefinite number of hutches
-Realistic points system
-Realistic traits system
-Show your rabbits in RFA shows, group shows, and agility trials
-Realistic health problems
-Walk and treat your rabbit to gain stats

Guinea Pigs

-Breed and raise 10 breeds (and more to come)
-Realistic genetics and cavy images
-Realistic lifespans
-Keep up to 10 cages with a basic account
-Upgrade to keep an indefinite number of cages
-Realistic points system

Different Towns

-Travel between 10 different towns with different locations
-The stores, shelter, and special location differs between each town

Careers and Economy

-Realistic economy
-Classifieds system to advertise rabbits, cavies, studs, and litters
-Join one of six careers
-Each career has different, useful perks
-No need to play minigames to make money in your career
-Sell rabbits and cavies to others
-All unsold offspring from litters are sold to "pet homes" (and you get paid)

RFA (Rabbit Fancier's Association)

-In-game association where you can register and show your rabbits
-Create player-run groups for specific breeds
-View breed standards
-Become a registered breeder
-Earn a prefix for rabbits bred by your rabbitry
-Rabbits and cavies earn titles

Community

-It's a small community, but a close one!
-Interact with other members in the chat box
-Make friends and find breeding partners

Hello, I don't understand any of this so...

question:

How do you breed your guinea pigs and rabbits?

You breed from the rabbit/cavy's page. There is a drop down list.
For rabbits, they have to be between 6 months and 5 years 8 months... and the male and female have to be the same breed.
For cavies, the have to be between 6 months and 5 years 7 months (I think)... and they can be crossbred.
